Pull up a stool.
You belong here.

A friendly Arizona community of taxidermists, hobbyists, hunters, and the just plain curious. We share finished mounts with pride, ask the how-to questions out loud, and help each other learn — in the group and in the shop.

A place to learn. A place to belong.

No question is too basic. No first project is too rough.

This is a learning and sharing community, not a resale site and not a place for slick sales talk. Pros share what they know, beginners ask anything, and everybody roots for the next mount on the wall. This site is the club’s home off Facebook — same welcome, plus classes you can sign up for and a blog you can learn from.

Ask how to do it

Preserving a specimen, fixing a mistake, picking a first project — ask in the group and someone who has done it will chime in.

Show it with pride

Finished mounts, works in progress, weird and wonderful oddities. If you made it, we want to see it.

Learn in a real shop

Members are always asking where they can learn hands-on. Our classes are the answer — small, practical, and in person.

Meet Arizona folks like you

About 6,000 members across the state. Find a mentor, a supplier tip, or just folks who get why you saved that skull.

This is what members ask for most: a chance to get in a shop and learn hands-on. Classes stay small on purpose, so you get real time at the bench and can ask questions as you go. Never done this before? Good. You are exactly who these are for.

Good questions. Straight answers.

A few things you might be wondering

Is the club free to join?

Yes. Join the Facebook group for free. Classes are paid separately because specimens, materials, and shop time are included in the price.

Do I need experience to take a class?

No. Most classes are built for beginners. If a class needs prior experience, it will say so clearly in the listing.

Can youths participate?

Yes, youths are welcome at the hands-on classes with a participating adult. Note it in your registration so we can plan bench space.

How do I pay for a class right now?

Register here by email or through the Facebook group, and the admin will confirm your spot and arrange payment. Online card payment will be added on this page once the club connects a merchant account (Stripe, Square, or PayPal).

Where are classes held?

Classes are hands-on in the shop in the Queen Creek, Arizona area. The exact address and start time are sent with your confirmation, and announced in the Facebook group for each class.
